A Traveler’s Pledge
Hello there,
Welcome to my first-ever blog post! It is so thrilling and exciting to finally be doing this.
First, Introduction: I am Iyanuoluwa meaning Miracle in English. I have a background in biochemistry but currently work as a business development intern by day, MBA student by night, travel blogger round the clock. I live and work in Lagos, Nigeria. Nice to meet you!
So why am I travel blogging? Well, watching videos of different cities and countries, their culture, lifestyle, history fascinates me.
When I’m not working or studying, I’m binge-watching content around the most peaceful, beautiful, iconic, and incredible places in the world, the best time to visit, best airlines to use, an average person’s budget to vacation there, and just basically uncovering the wonders of the earth.
The people in my life can testify that I constantly daydream about all kinds of places I wish I could go to. Let me show you:
Imagine yourself on a white sandy beach in Mauritius in a yellow flowery dress, Ray-Ban sunglasses on, swinging from a hammock chair by the beach, sipping freshly squeezed iced sugar cane juice, staring at the clear blue ocean as it ripples and crashes against the shore while the evening breeze gently strokes your small, beautiful face.
Or dancing the Hula in Hawaii and even though you might not be getting the steps right, you laugh and dance your heart out without a care in the world.
Swimming with dolphins in the Jervis Bay, Australia, walking down the pink beach in Indonesia, enjoying a classic cheese fondue while sitting by the magnificent flower clock in Geneva, Switzerland, or just walking through the amazing architectural work of art Singapore beholds are some of the thoughts and desires that cross my mind and I just get lost in my head.
I feel obliged to share my passion, thoughts, experiences, and beautiful dreams of traveling the world with y’all and hopefully inspire someone, so here I am!
The other night when my mind would not stop wandering, I put this little piece together:
I am a travel blogger
Exploring the world
Inspiring kindness and laughter
There is so much beauty to behold
I choose not to be held back
Could be a castle, a cabin, or a shack
Wherever my heart takes me, I follow.
